Prolific silvery-tongued swamp-songster found on such albums as Blood in the Pines: The Story of Hollis Sheppard by The Newfanglers and his debut solo album American Spirit under the moniker Uncle Dave & the Younguns. Uncle Dave also authored Tails of the Weak: From Doghill to Tripoli and Back, a collection of articles and autobiographical short stories, and founded two annual music festivals, Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Swamptown Getdown, hailing from his hometown of Waycross, Georgia.
Talented Waycross, Georgia singer-songwriter and erstwhile maestro of local group The Pine Box Dwellers, Sean's songs reflect the blackwater darkness of the Okefenokee Swamp that he grew up near and the sadness of a brooding freight train, of which there are many in his small hometown. His originals have been featured on the episodic TV series, True South and in 2015, he spent time as the opening act for the Master of Space and Time, Leon Russell. The hardest-working musician in Waycross, he also manages to turn his hand to art design and illustration, his works found on CD covers, advertising flyers, featured Pareidolia Brewery beer crowlers, and collectible paintings.
